Data were collected using mixed method approach in which two tools of measurement were used in the research. This paper examines the patterns of the primary language learning strategies practiced by Saudi students. The journal is published in both print and online versions. Focus group interviews and individual interviews were conducted via WhatsApp with ten college students who had recently attended an intensive English course at a university in Saudi Arabia.
